Special note:

  • Exiting via Airport: Before checking in your luggage visit the Planet Partner desk in the departures area at Gothenburg Landvetter or Malmö Sturup airports. For purchases over 25,000 SEK please visit the Customs desk before security. For Stockholm Arlanda airport, visit the Forex desk before security in Terminal 2, or the Aviator desk before security in Terminal 5. Customers departing from Stockholm Arlanda Terminal 5 with purchases over 25.000 SEK should go directly to Forex after security control to validate the Tax Free forms. All items must be available for inspection.
  • Exiting by ship/ferry: Exit via a sea port where customs are present
  • Exiting by car: Tourists travelling by road to Norway and then departing to a non-EU destination may get Customs Validation from a Norwegian Planet partner. Please refer to the Norway section of our website for a full list of validation points.

  • If you haven't received your refund at our Refund Point, provide your payment details on the Tax Free form, get Customs validation and return the Tax Free form by post using Planet prepaid envelope. You can also leave your Tax Free form in one of our Planet drop boxes.

What other refund options are available?

Advice
  • At the airport, please allow enough time for Export Validation before your flight departs.
  • Make sure the goods are unused and in your possession.
  • If you are leaving the EU from:
  • - Stockholm Airport, please present your Tax Free forms to Aviator before security in Terminal 4 and 5, or Forex before security in Terminal 2 and after security in Terminal 5. Have your passport, purchased items, receipt and flight ticket with you for possible inspection. Aviator or Forex will Export Validate your Tax Free forms on behalf of Customs. Items with a purchase price exceeding 25,000 SEK additionally require inspection by Forex after security in Terminal 5, or by Customs at all other terminals.
  • - Gothenburg Landvetter Airport, please present your Tax Free forms at the Swedavia Information Desk before security, or the Forex desk after security. Have your passport, purchased items, receipt and flight ticket with you for possible inspection. Swedavia or Forex will Export Validate your Tax Free forms on behalf of Customs.
  • - Malmö Sturup Airport, please present your Tax Free forms at Forex before security. Have your passport, purchased items, receipt and flight ticket with you for possible inspection. Forex will Export Validate your Tax Free forms on behalf of Customs.
  • - A Swedish Airport other than Stockholm, Gothenburg, or Malmö, you will need to get the Export Validation at Customs.
  • If you are departing an airport in Sweden, but changing flights at another EU airport and the goods you are exporting are to be checked through to a destination outside the EU, you can get your Tax Free Form Export Validated in Sweden as if you were at the EU departure point.
